All your chats in one app. With Beeper, you can send and receive messages to friends, family and colleagues on 14 different chat networks, all from a single app.
Beeper is a universal chat app that enables you to send and receive messages across 14 different chat networks in one app. It's free to use with an optional paid subscription and works across various devices, including Android, iPhone, iPad, ChromeOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux. Beeper supports all the core features of most major chat apps including sending/receiving messages, group chats, image/video sharing, emoji reactions, stickers, replies, disappearing messages, broadcast channels and threads. However, some features like video calls and creating new group chats might require you to use the native app for that particular chat network
Beeper works through a client app on your device and a web service that connects to different chat networks.
Beeper also utilizes the open source chat protocol called Matrix, giving users access to the Matrix network in addition to the other 13 supported networks.
Beeper emphasizes security and privacy, encrypting all chat history with zero-access encryption before storing it on their servers.
This means that only the user can read their chat history, not Beeper itself. Beeper also collects data like device information and user account information for authentication purposes.
