Pake

Turn any webpage into a desktop app with Rust.

Pake is an application that turns any webpage into a desktop app using Rust. It supports Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Features:

  • Small package size: Nearly 20 times smaller than an Electron package (around 5M).

  • Lightweight and fast: Uses Rust Tauri, making it more lightweight and faster than JS-based frameworks.

  • Battery-included package: Includes shortcut pass-through, immersive windows, and minimalist customization.

  • Simple tool: Replaces the old bundle approach with Tauri.

Pake also offers command-line packaging for quicker and easier package customization. It supports various shortcuts for navigation and page manipulation, such as returning to the previous page, going to the next page, auto-scrolling, refreshing, and zooming. Additionally, double-clicking the title bar switches to full-screen mode, and Mac users can use gestures to navigate and move the window.
